Our International Director Participated in an Exclusive Meeting with Key Energy Industry Peers
On 26th of September, Optimistic International Director, Svetlana Bilous Cota, participated in a invitation only exclusive meeting with some of the most prominent Portuguese energy stakeholders named “Coffee with the CEO: Connecting to Globalize”.
The invitation was addressed by the Portuguese Agency for Investment and External Commerce (AICEP), and presided by GALP’s CEO, Dr Filipe Silva. GALP is a Portugal-based holding company engaged in the oil and gas industry and its activities are divided into three business segments: exploration and production, refining, gas and power.
During the exclusive meeting, Svetlana had the opportunity to introduce Optimistic and further discuss key topics about the energy sector.
On other topics, GALP’s CEO, addressed key matters related the internationalization process, focusing mainly on strategies for companies to successfully conquer international markets and how to overcome challenges regarding the process of internationalization.
Dr Filipe Silva shared his vast experience and provided the distinct group of business entrepreneurs with some key insights, such as understanding the corporate advantages of new potential businesses and the importance of choosing the right partners to succeed on business expansion to other markets and world regions.
