OPTIMISTIC is a company specialized in manufacturing of rotary equipment, compressors and fans for various industries, such as hydrogen, oil and gas, energy production, but also construction, pharmaceuticals, packaging and healthcare. It stands out as one of the world’s leading manufacturers in this segment.
Today, the Optimistic group has more than 65 employees, considering the manufacturing plant in the central region, in the district of Leiria, and the office in Lisbon. It produces rotary equipment, such as compressors, fans and blowers, and provides specialized services to different industries, such as monitoring, renovation and overhaul. In recent years, its activity has focused on the production, repair and maintenance of rotary industrial equipment.
The year 2023 will close with a turnover of over 9 million euros, which, according to Bruno Valverde Cota, Optimistic’s CEO, consolidates the sustainable growth seen in recent years. For 2024, the aim is to increase manufacturing capacity in Portugal and diversify into new markets, as well as continuing to be one of the world’s largest manufacturers of high-quality, tailor-made rotary equipment.
